Keith Jarrett – Facing You VG+/VG+

Facing You is the first solo piano album by Keith Jarrett, released in March 1972 by ECM Records. It was the first album produced by Manfred Eicher for ECM and the first of Jarrett’s many solo piano recordings for the label. The album consists of eight original compositions by Jarrett, which he recorded in one session at the Arne Bendiksen Studio in Oslo, Norway, on November 10, 1971.

The album showcases Jarrett’s unique style of improvisation, which combines elements of jazz, classical, folk, and avant-garde music. Jarrett plays with a wide range of dynamics, emotions, and techniques, creating a rich and varied musical landscape. The album is considered one of the most influential and groundbreaking works in solo piano history, as well as one of Jarrett’s best and most popular albums.
