Different Class is the fifth studio album by English alternative rock band Pulp, released on October 30, 1995, by Island Records. It was the band’s breakthrough album, reaching number one on the UK Albums Chart and winning the 1996 Mercury Music Prize. The album has been certified four times platinum in the UK and has been ranked among the greatest albums of all time by several publications.

Different Class is a diverse album that blends elements of rock, pop, electronica, and glam. The album’s lyrics explore themes of love, loss, class, and identity. The album’s most famous single, “Common People”, is a biting satire of the British class system. Other notable tracks include “Disco 2000”, “Sorted”, and “This Is Hardcore”.
