Deathrite ‎– Nightmares Reign NM/VG+

“Nightmares Reign” is the fourth studio album by the German death metal band Deathrite. Released on November 9, 2018, through Century Media Records, this album marks a significant evolution in the band’s sound. While their previous work adhered strictly to the boundaries of death metal, “Nightmares Reign” ventures into more progressive and experimental territories.

The album features eight tracks, including “When Nightmares Reign,” “Appetite for Murder,” and “Temptation Calls.” The songs are characterized by their ominous tones, high-octane rhythms, and intricate guitar solos. The production is intentionally rough around the edges, adding a layer of authenticity and darkness to the overall sound.

“Nightmares Reign” showcases Deathrite’s ability to push the boundaries of their genre while maintaining the brutal intensity that their fans love. It’s a record that tries to grow out of the groundwork laid for it and blossom into something more.
