Jane Remover – Revengeseekerz

Jane Remover’s Revengeseekerz (2025) is a blistering, self-referential plunge into digicore, rage, and experimental EDM—a maximalist rupture from the shoegaze introspection of Census Designated. Released on April 4 via DeadAir Records, it’s her third studio album and features production entirely by Jane herself, with a sole guest appearance from Danny Brown on “Psychoboost”.

The album’s genesis is as chaotic as its sound: after returning from tour with JPEGMAFIA to find her apartment infested with maggots due to unpaid power bills, Jane scrapped a planned 18-track pop-trap tape and began crafting Revengeseekerz and its sister project Ghostholding (released under her alias venturing). The result is a 12-track, 50-minute barrage of glitchy textures, video game samples (Pokémon, Mario, Fortnite), and emotionally raw lyricism.

Singles like “JRJRJR,” “Dancing with Your Eyes Closed,” and “Dreamflasher” set the tone: cathartic, chaotic, and deeply personal. Each track samples Jane’s own past work, creating a recursive sonic universe that reflects on fame, mental health, and fractured relationships. Critics praised the album’s intensity and genre-bending ambition, calling it “a self-referential tornado” and “the hardest album since Trap Story”.
