Aesop Rock – Skelethon (Creme & Black Marble Vinyl, Deluxe Ltd Ed) NM/NM

Tracks such as “Zero Dark Thirty”, “Ruby ’81” and “Cycles to Gehenna” explore themes of isolation, creativity, memory and personal struggle, often through vivid storytelling and surreal imagery. The production balances heavy beats, unusual textures and atmospheric sound design, creating a mood that is both unsettling and compelling.

For many listeners, Skelethon represents the point where Aesop Rock’s formidable technical skills became fully matched by emotional resonance. The result is a challenging but rewarding album that combines underground hip-hop experimentation with some of the most thoughtful and personal writing of his career.
