“Arthur Verocai” is the debut studio album by Brazilian composer Arthur Verocai, released in 1972 by Continental Records. The album blends folk jazz, Latin jazz, and funk, creating a unique and dreamlike soundscape. Influenced by artists like Frank Zappa, Miles Davis, and Wes Montgomery, the album features tracks such as “Caboclo,” “Pelas Sombras,” “Sylvia,” “Presente Grego,” “Dedicada A Ela,” “Seriado,” “Na Boca Do Sol,” “Velho Parente,” “O Mapa,” and “Karina (Domingo No Grajaú).”
