Brian Cadd – Yesterdaydreams VG+/VG+

“Yesterdaydreams” is the fifth studio album by Australian singer-songwriter Brian Cadd. It was released in December 1978 by Festival Records /Interfusion Records in Australia and Capitol Records in North America. The album features 10 tracks written or co-written by Cadd, including the singles “Yesterdaydreams” and “Skating on Thin Ice”. The album showcases Cadd’s pop rock style with influences from country, soul, and blues. Some of the notable musicians who played on the album are David Winteur, Mike Porcaro, Jeff Porcaro, Larry Knechtel, and Davey Johnstone. Cadd later described the album as “pop music on acid” in his autobiography. Yesterdaydreams is considered one of Cadd’s most adventurous and creative albums, but it did not achieve much commercial success.
