Little River Band ‎– First Under The Wire

Released in July 1979, “First Under the Wire” marked the fifth studio album by Australian rock band Little River Band. The album achieved significant commercial success, reaching number two on the Australian Kent Music Report Albums Chart and becoming their highest-ranking album on the Billboard 200 in the United States, peaking at number ten.

Musically, the album highlights the band’s signature strength: their vocal harmonies. Producer John Boylan polishes the songs, resulting in a clear and radio-friendly sound.
