Sufjan Stevens & Angelo De Augustine – A Beginner’s Mind

A collaboration between Sufjan Stevens and Angelo De Augustine, A Beginner’s Mind folds cinematic inspiration into gentle, breath‑light folk. The songs don’t retell films so much as use them to explore innocence, guilt, longing, and the hope of seeing life with fewer scars. Its melodies feel fragile but intentional, creating a reflective space where small emotional turns glow quietly and linger.
