Badbadnotgood – Mid Spiral

BadBadNotGood – Mid Spiral is a multi-part jazz fusion project that showcases the band’s evolution and refined artistry. Released in 2024, the album is structured into three distinct suites—Chaos, Order, and Growth—each reflecting different moods and musical explorations.

The record sees BadBadNotGood returning to their instrumental jazz roots while incorporating elements of hip-hop, neo-soul, psychedelic, and funk. The production embraces a live, straight-to-tape aesthetic reminiscent of high-end 70s studio recordings, giving the album a warm, organic feel. Across the tracks, listeners can expect a mix of jazz-funk, jazz-rock, samba jazz, and psych-jazz influences.
