Godflesh – Streetcleaner

$56.95 Inc. GST

Streetcleaner is the debut studio album by the English industrial metal band Godflesh. It was released on 13 November 1989 through Earache Records. The album is widely acclaimed by critics and is often cited as a landmark release in industrial metal, a genre that Godflesh helped define with their distinctive blend of heavy guitar riffs, drum machine beats, and harsh vocals. The album’s themes are dark and nihilistic, reflecting the band’s dissatisfaction with the society and culture of their hometown, Birmingham. The album is considered one of the most influential and important albums in the history of metal, and has inspired many bands such as Fear Factory, Neurosis, and Isis. Godflesh frontman Justin Broadrick considers it one of his landmark releases and a personal favourite.
