Lupe Fiasco – Drogas Wave

“Drogas Wave” is the seventh studio album by American hip hop artist Lupe Fiasco, released on September 21, 2018, by 1st and 15th Productions and Thirty Tigers. The album is the second part of a planned trilogy, following “Drogas Light” (2017) and preceding “Skulls” (2020).

The album tells a powerful story about a group of African slaves who survive being thrown off a slave ship and live under the sea, dedicating their lives to sinking other slave ships. The title “Drogas” is an acronym for “Don’t Ruin Us God Said,” and the album explores themes of slavery, resilience, and redemption.
