Mitski ‎– Nothing’s About To Happen To Me (Yellow Opaque Vinyl)

Mitski’s Nothing’s About to Happen to Me is built around sparse, steady arrangements that keep everything close to the ground. The production leans on clean guitars, muted percussion, and a restrained vocal presence, giving the album a cool, minimal surface. Tempos stay measured, dynamics rarely spike, and the mix leaves plenty of negative space. It’s a controlled, quietly textured record that prioritizes clarity, simplicity, and a consistent, unhurried atmosphere.
